Hi, my name is Michelle Hannappel and I am from Mainz. I am an experienced teacher with a background in teaching German as a Foreign Language, and this is my second year at Amelia Earhart School. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a flight attendant, which gave me the opportunity to travel the world and experience different cultures. In my free time, I am passionate about equestrian sports and enjoy spending time with my own horse. I am happy to continue being part of the AES community and to support our children throughout their learning journey.

My name is Jennifer, and I’ve been a passionate educator since 2007, certified in English, Latin, and ESL. I have taught English in Thailand, Latin in the U.S. for 12 years, and supported students with special needs in Italy and Germany. I love helping students discover the joy of language through stories, songs, games, and play, and I believe in building strong relationships and creating a positive classroom environment. In my free time, I run ultra-marathons across Europe and am currently training for my first 100km.

Hello, I’m Jürgen Giehl, an experienced primary school teacher who enjoys helping children learn, discover, and grow in their own way. I believe that children learn best when lessons connect with their interests and curiosity.

One of my passions is chess, and I am happy to share this with our students through the school’s Chess Club, which has become a very popular and enjoyable activity. I also enjoy teaching mathematics and encouraging children to develop confidence in their thinking and problem-solving skills.
