Summer Fest 2026 at Amelia Earhart Schule: A Journey Beneath the Sea

Our school community came together once again to celebrate one of the highlights of the year: Summer Fest 2026. This year's theme, "The Ocean," transformed Amelia Earhart Schule into an underwater world filled with creativity, music, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
The afternoon began with an exciting programme of performances prepared by every class. Inspired by life beneath the sea, students took to the stage with confidence and enthusiasm, presenting an impressive variety of acts. From songs inspired by The Little Mermaid and energetic dances to theatre performances, quizzes, and creative presentations, each class brought its own unique interpretation of the ocean, making the show entertaining, colourful, and full of surprises.
After the performances, the celebration continued across the school grounds. Every class hosted its own ocean-themed activity stand, where families could enjoy games, crafts, interactive challenges, and hands-on activities. The stalls reflected the imagination and hard work of our students and teachers, creating a lively atmosphere where children of all ages could explore, create, and have fun together.
No Summer Fest would be complete without delicious food, and our school grill quickly became a favourite meeting point. Families, students, and staff gathered to enjoy freshly prepared hot dogs, sharing conversations and celebrating another successful school year in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Beyond the performances and activities, the event perfectly reflected what makes Amelia Earhart Schule so special: a strong sense of community, collaboration, and joy. Seeing our students perform with such confidence, while families, teachers, and friends cheered them on, reminded us how much can be achieved when everyone works together.
A heartfelt thank you goes to all of our students, teachers, staff members, volunteers, and families whose dedication and enthusiasm made this wonderful celebration possible. Your support, creativity, and teamwork turned Summer Fest 2026 into a truly memorable event.
