Last week, our Winter Camp turned winter days into a week full of creativity, movement, and shared experiences. We celebrated Thanksgiving at Amelia Earhart School, bringing our school community together for a warm and meaningful afternoon. Families contributed a wonderful selection of desserts for all students to enjoy, creating a truly shared experience. Last week, all our 3rd and 4th grade students took part — for the second time — in Germany’s largest online student competition in computer science, the Biber Informatik Wettbewerb. Our students worked hard to solve the tricky logic and problem-solving challenges… and there was definitely a lot of bibbern going on! Last Friday, we enjoyed a wonderful morning filled with reading magic. Students from Humboldt-Schule Privates Gymnasium visited us to read stories, created beautiful bookmark crafts with our 4th graders, and performed a small theatre play in the gym. Former students also returned to our classrooms to read to the children and share a special moment together. A day full of reading, creativity, and meaningful connections between schools and generations.

Last Monday, the children in the Sports & Health AG enjoyed a very special activity: Mr. Vitolo, the owner of Raffaeles restaurant in Sonnenberg, visited our class and taught the children the art of making pizza! What an exciting day for our Chess Club! Our students from Amelia Earhart School took part in the Hessian School Chess Cup 2025, a fantastic event with around 700 children from all over Hesse! The tournament took place at the Kurt-Schumacher School in Karben, with 28 primary school teams competing in the same group. A wonderful day full of focus, strategy, and team spirit!
