Our first-grade class is called Marco Polo, named after the famous explorer who traveled far and wide to discover new places and learn about different cultures. Just like Marco Polo, you will be going on a special "journey" this year! In first grade, you will explore new subjects, learn new skills, and make exciting discoveries in both German and English. Marco Polo's adventures will inspire us to be curious, brave, and open to learning new things, just like real explorers! We can’t wait to start this amazing adventure with you!

Our First Grade Teachers

In our first grade, we have two groups, and each group is guided by two dedicated teachers to create a rich bilingual learning experience.

Each class has a German-speaking class teacher who leads the students in their native language, and an English-speaking immersion teacher who communicates exclusively in English.

Both teachers work together in cooperation in key classes, providing support in both languages and creating a seamless bilingual environment.

This teamwork helps students naturally develop skills in both German and English, encouraging them to become confident and capable in both languages.

We look forward to guiding your children through this exciting year!
