Project Week: Explore, Build, Discover!

For one exciting week, Amelia Earhart Schule transformed into a world of exploration, creativity and discovery! Inspired by STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), every class, from Preschool to Year 4, embarked on its own unique project.
Our goal was simple: to encourage children to ask questions, experiment, think creatively and discover how the world around them works through hands-on learning.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Children are naturally curious, and Project Week gave them the opportunity to explore their interests in greater depth. Through practical activities, experiments and teamwork, they developed important skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration and creativity.
Most importantly, learning became an adventure in which every child could actively participate, investigate and contribute.
Discover Our Projects!
Preschool – Robotics and the Wonders of Flight
Preschool A explored the fascinating world of robotics, discovering through playful activities how machines work and follow instructions.
Preschool B took to the skies with "From Wings to Flight", investigating birds, wings and the science behind flying, from nature's incredible designs to human inventions.
First Grade – Butterfly Adventure
Our Year 1 classes discovered the fascinating life cycle of butterflies. Through "Butterfly Adventure" (1A: "Little Wings – Big Adventure"), the children explored the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly and learned more about the wonders of nature.
Second Grade – Space Exploration and Great Inventors
Class 2A travelled beyond Earth with "Mission Space", exploring our solar system and discovering the planets.
Meanwhile, Class 2B stepped into the world of Leonardo da Vinci, learning about his extraordinary creativity as an artist, scientist and inventor, and how his ideas continue to inspire us today.
Third Grade – Sustainability and Chemistry
Class 3A explored the possibilities of upcycling, discovering how everyday discarded materials can be transformed into something new, creative and useful.
Class 3B became young scientists with "On the Trail of Chemistry", carrying out experiments and observing how different materials react and change.
Fourth Grade– Innovation and Scientific Thinking
Class 4A embraced sustainability with "Turning Old into New", exploring how reusing materials can help protect our environment and conserve resources.
Class 4B focused on a variety of STEM experiments, developing scientific thinking through predicting, testing, observing and evaluating their discoveries.
A School Full of Creativity!
Throughout the week, our classrooms were transformed into inspiring learning spaces, each reflecting its own project theme. Everywhere you looked, children were experimenting, building, investigating and working together.
The enthusiasm, curiosity and determination of our students made this week truly special.
